The Mutant is a different kind of lipless as you can very quickly see.
The body features, plus the rattles, creates a great amount of sound that is transmitted to the fish's lateral line and gets their attention quickly.
Because of the head and body design, it moves MUCH more water than the typical flat bodied lipless designs, and gets more attention and action from fish in the general area.
Another unique feature of our non-typical body design for the Mutant....which presents a profile resembling a VERY pregnant fish.
With the Mutants belly section designed much wider than flat sided styles, this body design is quite helpful in protecting the hooks from hanging up as easily as the typical accepted design for a lipless search bait.
I recently caught a 15" 2 lb 11 oz. Crappie on one of them. A couple of 16 lb Stripers, and of course plenty of Large and Smallmouth Bass and boated some very nice White Bass. Good Fishing to you all
